    1:00 - 2:50 PM    Affinity for Illustrations, Graphs, and Images

    - Draw custom scientific illustrations

    - Optimize Excel, GraphPad, PDF charts into figure panels

    - Format scientific images with scale bars and zoom cropping


    ~10 minute stretch/restroom break~


    3:00 - 4:00 PM     Export Settings for Figures/Posters, AI Images, and Participant Q&A

    - Final formatting and export tips 

    - Ethical use of artificial intelligence image tools for scientific figures

    - Participant Q&A and scheduling your separate one-one design support sessions

  • One-on-One Design Support Session (Optional)

    After the workshop, each participant is invited to schedule a separate one-on-one design support session to answer any questions or troubleshoot their scientific designs.

  • Workshop Certificate

    After the workshop, you will recieve a certificate of completion.


    Certification includes a link that automatically adds it to the "Licenses & certifications" section on your LinkedIn profile. 


    You can also include the certificate in your CV or resume and easily share your accomplishments on social media.

Workshop FAQs

After purchasing the workshop, how do I access the tutorial videos, project files, and templates?

Option 1: You will receive access to the templates and main workshop materials via email before the workshop start date.

 (No additional action is required)


Option 2: If you want access to the additional Affinity tutorial videos and the entire download library, you will receive a separate email to create a website Course Log In for access to the protected pages.

  1. After the workshop, check your email and spam folders for the subject "Your members-only invite is here" from www.simplifiedsciencepublishing.com
  2. Click on the "Accept Invite" link and then you can create a website Log In to access the workshop resource pages with the tutorial videos, project files, and templates.


  • How do I get my workshop certificate?

    You will recieve the certificate of completion and LinkedIn badge within 3 days after you attend the workshop.


    If you miss the live session, you will not recieve the certificate, however the workshop will still include access to the tutorial videos and resources that allow you to complete your own individual training.

  • How do I join the live video workshop calls?

    After enrolling in the course, you will be provided a secure Zoom link via email and invite reminders.

    After enrolling, you will be prompted to download Affinity, a free professional vector design software.
